Eyes On Learning
Eyes On Learning is dedicated to making sure that children with vision problems are identified early and receive an eye exam and follow-up treatment to achieve better vision health.
The Eyes On Learning Vision Coalition is comprised of state, local, and national organizations that share a commitment to vision health and learning success for all Arizona children. Leadership for coalition activities is provided by the Advisory Board.

Karen Woodhouse
In 2015 Karen Woodhouse was appointed as the Eyes On Learning Director, to help strengthen and expand the statewide initiative. Ms. Woodhouse, an early childhood development expert, previously served as Chief Program Officer at First Things First, where she led the division working to improve early childhood systems, including preventative screening for developmental and sensory (hearing and vision) delays. She also served as Deputy Associate Superintendent at the Arizona Department of Education and established the department’s Early Childhood Education Division.
